We’re a community of people who are fed up with mediocre HR departments and recruiters.
Companies may not appreciate it, but a large majority of so-called "talent experts" are doing real damage to their brand. How?
More often than not, recruiters and HR persons arrive at interviews ill-prepared and unable to answer questions about a role.
LinkedIn recruiters: they slide into your DMs, declare you're the perfect fit, and then ghost you mid-interview process like a Tinder date who never texts back. Classy.
Often times, HR departments are just collecting resumes for roles that don’t exist or are OK to advertise but NOT OK to hire so that shareholders and and those outside of an ‘inner circle’ believe the company to be growing when it’s anything but.
Because those that interview don’t necessarily get hired, the damage continues, unchecked.
We created this site so the next time a headhunter randomly calls you or an HR department forgets to tell you where you stand, you’ll know who to trust and who to avoid like the last slice of gas station sushi.
We expect companies (out of compassion or embarrassment) will start holding these gatekeepers accountable to the piles of people they’ve ignored and made jump through hoops for roles that never existed.
